What's a Road Hazard?

Road hazards include tire damage caused while driving on a maintained paved or gravel road, such as:

  • Nails / screws
  • Glass
  • Potholes
  • Side wall damage

How to Get Service

To receive coverage, you must:

  1. Provide your original invoice showing Road Hazard purchase (copy accepted)
  2. Bring the damaged tire for inspection
  3. Pay any costs not covered, including mounting, balancing, taxes, and disposal fees

Manufacturer Mileage Warranty Proration:

If a manufacturer proration applies, the customer pays up front while the tire is reviewed. Once finalized, the customer receives a check or account credit for the prorated amount. Based off what the manufacturer sees fit. This is not up to Allen’s Automotive to decide we are not the final decision when it comes to tire damage the Tire Manufacturer is.

Flat Repair Coverage

If the tire can be safely repaired, repairs are free for the usable life of the tire. Coverage stays active until the tire reaches 3/32" tread depth.

Replacement Coverage Rules

If the tire cannot be safely repaired, replacement is covered as follows:

  • 0–12 months: up to 100% of original tire price
  • 13–24 months: up to 50% of original tire price
  • 25–36 months: up to 25% of original tire price

Customer pays any difference in cost plus mounting, balancing, taxes, and fees.

Not eligible if:

  • Tire is below 3/32" tread
  • Tire is more than 10 years old
  • Tire was already replaced (coverage ends for that tire once replaced)
